fields vtec burnout??

Can a vtec controller fry your ECU, or even slow the car down?? I had it installed my a professional and no problems yet. Ive had mine on my car for a while and cant tell the differance? Any thoughts??

You can sit at idle and adjust the percentages at that rpm -- whether you lean it out or richen you should hear a definite change in the way the engine runs --then you'll know it's working. Other than that, you can see changes on a dyno, but not so convenient for most people.

As for burning out anything --don't know about that.

The only way to do damage to the ECU is if you hooked something up wrong like a hooking up a 12v source to something that was never meant to see 12v

yea, I played around with it some today, what do you theink is the best changeover rpm? Right now I have it set somewere between 4800 and 5000, but still playing. I havent messed around with the fuel yet I really dont want to blow anything up.

If you have ITR intake cam 4900 both cams 5200rpm no cams maybe a few rpm lower but that is it.
